When you first arrive at the spa, you’ll be asked to complete a client intake form if you haven’t already done so. This form provides the personal information necessary to determine the style of massage most appropriate for you. Don’t hesitate to ask questions about anything you’re unsure about or any concerns you might have. For example, if you prefer a lighter or deeper massage, make that preference known. The massage therapist will discover your tight and sore areas during the massage and will prioritize the time spent on these areas. Telling the therapist about these problem areas will let them prepare in advance.
When you’ve completed the intake forms, the massage therapist will give you privacy to get on the massage table. The therapist will advise you to begin the massage lying on your stomach or on your back. If you begin on your stomach, there will be a cushioned doughnut-shaped device at one end of the table. This face rest allows you to be face down, while keeping your shoulder and neck muscles relaxed so you receive the most benefits from the massage.
You should undress to your comfort level. Many people will remove all their clothing and many others will leave on their underwear or shorts. Either way, you will be covered with a sheet and only the body part being worked on will be uncovered. We will maintain your modesty at all times.
If you feel like talking, go ahead. If you want peace and quiet, mention to your therapist that you really need to zone out for your service time.

No, If you explain to your therapist what your concerns are and what expectations you want, along with your medical history intake form, the therapist will suggest or use the proper techniques for your situation. Most of our massages use a combination of Swedish, Deep tissue, Neuromuscular, Myofascial Release, stretching and other modalities. These techniques are chosen by the massage therapist depending upon the muscle condition, comfort level, tissue response, personal preference, dysfunction level and intended goals. The therapist can smoothly switch techniques as the conditions warrant and most often, the client is not even aware that a change has taken place.
The frequency of massage therapy sessions depends on the individual and their specific needs. Some people may benefit from weekly sessions, while others may only need occasional sessions to maintain their health and wellness..
Yes, we work by appointment only to guarantee that we have a therapist ready for your appointed time. If you need a same-day appointment, it’s best to call as early as possible. Most of our therapists are booked daily but we will try to honor any same-day requests as best as we can.
Yes, you can receive a massage while you are pregnant. The massage, when pregnant, can provide much needed relief from low back, hip or leg pain as well many other conditions. A little pampering at this time is always a welcome relief, too. Our therapists are specially trained to work with pregnant women for their prenatal or postnatal massage sessions. There are a few special modifications that will be made to the positioning and massage procedures depending upon the trimester of the receiver. As always, your therapist will need to be informed about any particular medical conditions that you may be experiencing; your medical doctor should be consulted with any medical conditions as to the advisability of receiving a massage or bodywork.
If you feel that you would like to try another service provider feel free. Each staff member is unique in their touch and their view points. Your services will be done using the same procedure, but with a different touch. We are all teammates and want you, as our client, to feel comfortable trying services from another member of our team.

24 HOURS NOTICE is required for all scheduled appointments. We strictly enforce this policy.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they need.

In the event that we do not receive the required notice for adjustments and cancellations, the following fees will apply:

  • Notification given at least 24 hours prior to your appointment will receive no charges.
  • Notification given with less than 24 hours prior or a failure to show up for your appointment will result in a full-service charge of the reserved service amount.

If a client fails to cancel within 24 hours multiple times (2 or more), they may be asked to pre-pay for future services.

Yes, you can choose your therapist but you may have to wait for an appointment depending on the therapists’ schedule, availability and popularity. If you need a quicker appointment, we can find an opening on another therapist’s schedule. We understand the need for consistency with your treatment and we will strive to make an appointment with your desired therapist.
Tips are never expected, but always appreciated. If you have received exceptional service and would like to show your appreciation to the therapist, the average tip ranges between 10-25%. From the therapist’s perspective, it is always nice to receive the compliment of a “thank you for good service” gratuity. If paying with a credit card or check, the tip can be added to the total. The therapist will receive 100% of their tip.
Thai Yoga Massage is a session that is performed on a table or on padded mat on the floor. You should be fully dressed with loose comfortable clothes such as work-out or yoga clothing. The therapist will assist you to be stretched into many comfortable positions which will allow for full body stretching. The therapist will work to your limits and comfort level. The stretches will be repeated numerous times with improved limits of the stretch attained with each movement. This is a comfortable session which will improve flexibility and provide methods for client to achieve better range of motion with decreased stiffness.

It is not recommended if you are just going home. If you are going out to party, back to work, or shopping for the day—Absolutely! Just remember to cleanse before bed.
The histamine that causes a reaction is in your body, not in the product you apply. Using the process of elimination you will find that you are not allergic to everything. We will be happy to work with you one product at a time, to help you find out what you can use. Hypoallergenic generally means that the product does not contain fragrance.
Absolutely! We do massage therapy on men of all ages.
In order to maintain peace in our treatment rooms please turn your phones off.
We always try to accommodate a group. Please try to schedule a group appointment at least a month in advance to ensure service time availability. The number of people we can accommodate is determined by the services they select.

There are several reasons to not get a massage. If you have any of the following conditions, you should not receive a massage.

  • Blood clots
  • Bleeding
  • Fever
  • Fracture
  • Heart disease
  • Infectious disease
  • Kidney or liver disease
  • Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia
  • Pregnancy-induced diabetes
  • Severe cold
  • Some sores
  • Systemic infections
  • Toxemia 

These guidelines protect both the patient and the therapist. If you are unsure if a condition could prohibit you from getting a massage, call your therapist before your appointment.

Personal Care. To ensure that you reap the full benefits of the spa experience, we suggest:

  • Arrive early: Arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to give yourself time to check in, fill out any necessary paperwork, and get settled in the relaxation area.
  • Dress comfortably: Wear loose, comfortable clothing and avoid wearing any jewelry that may interfere with your treatment. The spa will provide you with a robe and slippers to wear during your visit.
  • Communicate your preferences: Let your therapist know your preferences for pressure, room temperature, music, and any other concerns or requests you may have.
  • Avoid eating a heavy meal: It is best to avoid eating a heavy meal before your appointment as it can interfere with your relaxation.
  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water before and after your appointment to help flush out toxins and rehydrate your body.
  • Relax and enjoy: Take this opportunity to unwind, disconnect from the world, and enjoy some much-needed self-care.
