As a supportive and hands-on leader, Candace empowers her employees to grow, succeed, and bring their best selves to work every day. She is inspired daily by the opportunity to help others unwind, recharge, and reconnect with themselves—making wellness not just a service, but a lifestyle.
When she’s not at the spa, Candace enjoys spending quality time with her family, getting lost in a good book, and relaxing with her precious cat, Nala.

Michael Malecki, RN, FF/EMT - Owner

Michael brings a unique blend of medical expertise, emergency response experience, and compassionate leadership to Kneaded Relief Massage & Spa. A Registered Nurse and certified Firefighter/EMT, Michael has built a career centered on caring for others—both in high-intensity medical settings and in environments dedicated to healing, restoration, and wellness.
In 2020, Michael took over ownership of Kneaded Relief and began thoughtfully expanding the brand. Under his leadership, the Southgate flagship location grew to operate seven days a week and relocated to a significantly larger facility—doubling treatment capacity and allowing for the addition of professional esthetic services. These expansions reflect Michael’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of clients while maintaining the highest standards of care and comfort.
Continuing that momentum, Kneaded Relief expanded again in 2024 with the opening of a second location in Livonia, Michigan. Michael’s vision remains rooted in creating welcoming spaces where clinical knowledge and relaxation come together, ensuring every client experience supports the mind, body, and spirit.
